But he said you are “not” going to.

Quick results in any search engine are not typical, and are generally the exception rather than the rule. SEO generally takes lots of time.

I just started using this software called socialblaster and it has been the best decision I have made in a long time. I see your marketing alot on youtube and wanted to tell you about a technique that automates marketing across 40 + social networks with multiple accounts, send scheduled text updates with links to 40 social networks on sites like tiwtter and many more. No more SEO for me!

I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews. (net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.

I will have to say, I have looked at alot of videos but your video really did catch my eye a whole lot. Do you think you could set me up into getting started like you have on youtube here.

How about Google, nimrod? Yahoo is nothing.

gigman7 March 13, 2010 at 4:34 pm

Expectation #1 is wrong. I had one web site that was on the first page of Yahoo in about a month.

Thanks so much seofirm! I really appreciate the kind words.

seofirm March 13, 2010 at 6:25 pm

For those business owners that need this extra “kick in the butt” realistic level of SEO expectations spelled out to them, this is a very thorough and realistic video to show them [even before starting their SEO campaign].

Hi Sage, as president of an organic SEO firm too, I very much agree that many SEO clients (despite your continual SEO education/training throughout the next 365 days with them), have different [and inaccurate] illusions about how their Web site should be “seen” and ranked for their keyword in search engines. Great job pin pointing the most popular questions business owners ask SEO firms during their commitment.

Hmmm. A couple of wake up calls for yours truly on this vid. I’m still glad you posted it, though – thanks for some kick *** valuable information that is probably going to save me a lot of time.

Five stars easily on this one.

SeeDirtRun March 13, 2010 at 8:50 pm

Very realistic grounded advice to a newbie.

sagerock March 13, 2010 at 9:38 pm

sagerock March 13, 2010 at 11:11 pm

Oh ****. I just accidentally removed a guys comment. I was going towards “Reply” and hit “Remove” by accident. I’m sleepy I guess. He just said with all my energy he thought I was going to start cussing the world out. It has happened before :) Sorry ’bout that.

Justyskie March 14, 2010 at 12:05 am

Interesting points and issues I am continually (nearly daily) explaining again and again to clients. This is a nice assumation of the general expectations of SEO and ranking on Google etc.

Will indeed be referring this vid to clients to ensure them that im not just pulling the wool over their eyes as they can be influenced by the “but I know another site that did it in 3 weeks syndrome”.

Quilst March 14, 2010 at 1:00 am

(dot) hr – sorry about that
